5. Conclusion: For conventional electrical HVAC system can be purchased around $4,100.- . Geothermal system needs less costs of energy bill (20-30 %) than regular heating/ cooling systems. So, you will get your money back for around 11 to 14 years and in fact on average, you geothermal system lasts 21 – 26 years.
