Infrared Tube Heaters Radiant: FAQ Checklists!

propane infrared radiant tube heater

Infrared tube heaters radiant are increasingly popular day by day, because of several reasons! Some of those reasons or advantages that we can get when using infrared radiant heaters are quick performance to heat directly the object, available for more design choices, consume less energy to work (therefore we can choose them for one of the best options of eco-friendly heating technology and will be helpful enough to keep the utility bill low), more comfortable on heating (there are less dusts and dirt when working, therefore we can use them for asthma medication & also welcome idea for anyone who suffers from allergies), less care for the maintenance, noiseless when running and so on!

How do infrared tube heaters radiant work?

There are a lot of appliances that use radiant heating technology. It can be used for industrial, commercial and residential heating. Basically, infrared tube heaters radiant will heat the space in the same method of the directly heating of the sunlight on heating the surface of the earth. Once the earth’s surface heated and gets warm, the heat energy will be released to the surrounding area (this process involves the heat convection distribution principle). Once again, the radiant tube infrared heating units work in the closely similar way! The heat will be transferred directly to heat the objects (people, floor, furniture, etc) then the heat will be emitted back from the object to heat the surrounding air by the process of convection principle!

With the directly heating method, radiant tube heaters will be powerful enough to heat the human body (object) more quickly and even the heat energy can be directed to heat a specific object that you want to heat more specifically. So, the object will get warm first without needing to heat the entire air in the room. This is the key of their more efficient performance. The directly heating is also familiar to be used for heating outdoor areas, like patio.

How about the advantages?

Like mentioned before, there are a lot of benefits when using infrared tube heaters radiant! They work more efficient with their directly heating performance which the heat is directly directed to the objects (will promise lower utility bills that we must pay for each month of heating season), relatively more noiseless (particularly if compared to conventional air-forced systems), friendly to the environment, minimal maintenance (lower cost for maintenance), reliable, etc. Unlike radiant floor heating, they (especially for portable models) are usually relatively easier to be installed.

Cost savings

If compared to the conventional forced-air heaters, they will be able to achieve & reach fuel savings around 50-30 percent more efficient. The high level of cost saving is influenced by some factors, such as the local climate (extreme or not), the design & technology of the radiant tube infrared heating unit itself, maintenance (it is important to keep the unit run efficiently), and so on.

What kind of area can be heated?

They are available in a wide range of size and in several models to accommodate different requirements. In many cases, they are practically enough to be used either for outdoors or indoors! There are available some models of them that can work properly in factories, outdoor restaurants, loading docks, gymnasiums, warehouses, air-craft hangers, etc. Furthermore, they are also welcome idea for de-icing & snow-melting!
