Stay Warm with Low Energy Bill

During winter season, the weather can be so cold and unfriendly to human body. Therefore, we need heaters to keep our body stay warm. Unfortunately, heating activities also need a lot of energy and this means the energy bill that we have to pay for each month during winter season also increases drastically! Therefore, it is not too bad idea by optimizing what we have! You must be more creative otherwise your home heating bill will drain your pocket seriously. And fortunately, there are some ideas on how to keep warm with lower energy bill during winter months.

With a little bit more effort, you can keep your home heating bill stay on the track. Once again, you can optimize what you have such as; blankets, vests, warm boots or shoes, warm-caps, etc to keep you body stay warm without resulting higher energy bill. Well, let’s to the point! Below are several tips and ideas that you can use to through this coldest days of winter season successfully:

1. We all agree that heater is one of the most important home appliances during winter. So it is important to keep the efficiency performance of your units. Don’t forget to check and maintain them regularly, especially one or two weeks before winter. If the budget permits, why you don’t try to sign a contract with a local heating contractor for the maintenance.

2. If you have an old heater that is usually prone to work inefficiently then it is better to look and find a new unit that can work more efficient. If you are individual who love investment in long term. Why you don’t try to install geothermal heating system or solar heating system. Both are not only eco-friendly technology but also will be helpful to save your money in long term.

3. As possible keep and use the heat that you generate optimally! It is better to upgrade your old weather-stripping (either on windows or doors). You can make draft guards by yourself or purchase them in the local home-improvement stores and then use them at the bottom of your doors.

4. Take a look at your clothes. Make your body stay warm by adding two or one layer to the clothing, then in order to warm up your legs, arms, or trunk…, a down & knitted-vest are not too bad idea!

5. As additional information, do you know that a human body can lose around sixty five percent of body heat through scalp? So, it is good idea by wearing a scarf or hat on our head.

6. Consider to use eco-friendly insulators, like matters pads, fleece sheets, etc! They are not only helpful to minimize the heat energy loss that is generated by your heater but also will be helpful to provide comfortable sleeping warm.

7. Always remember, it is always easier to keep and stay warm than warm up your body once your body has gotten chilled. Don’t forget to consider any food and beverage that also can be useful to keep your body warm.
