What are types that currently available?

There are available two major types; boiler and stove!

  1. A boiler is typically designed to burn chips, logs or pellets and usually integrated to a central heating and also can be connected to hot water heating system, therefore it can be used to heat radiators for heating a whole home and also welcome idea for water heating.
  2. A stove is typically designed to burn pellets or logs and more purposed to warm up a single room. And in order to provide more powerful water heating performance, the stove also can be fitted with a back boiler.

How about the advantages and why you should choose them?

  1. They produce lower carbon when working! The CO2 emitted or produced when wood is burned is almost equal to the absorbed. This will keep balance as long as new plants keep on to grow or increase in area that the plant was working or growing.
  2. If you live in the UK, you will get financial support, such as RHI program (Renewable Heat Incentive).
  3. The fuel is relatively affordable enough to be purchased.

-Logs are relatively cheaper in price (especially if compared to pellets) but we need many logs to warm up a whole home.

-Pellet boiler can work automatically in the same way of oil boilers or gas boilers. Pellets are also relatively more practical and easier to be used.

-Chips are not too recommended to heat a single room. They will be better and typically popular for heating groups of homes or larger buildings.

How about the costs that you have to pay?
